Abu Nusaybah is still in custody but has not been charged. Parts of the letter have been redacted to prevent contempt of court.

This is too unfortunate. He should have been smarter and NOT given an interview to the media. He drew attention to himself and he knows how the authorities are unjust. I feel for this brother.
Again Assed, your blog is a breath of fresh air, you will not be the 'token' Muslim for the media but I'm sure your honesty in reporting the truth will be supported by many.
I myself am a young Black Afro-centric Jamaican woman (living in the UK). I'm irreligious/agnostic but brought up as a Christian but we are fighting the same cause for equality, fairness and honesty in our we are treated whether by society or by the media.

I respect your fight.
He followed his conscience and did what he (and I) felt was right. For that, he gets my respect.
